This guide will help you set up and test the Grocery Receipt Tracker with Discord integration.

1. Go to the [Discord Developer Portal](https://discord.com/developers/applications)

3. Navigate to the "Bot" section in the left sidebar

5. Under "Privileged Gateway Intents", enable:

6. Click "Reset Token" and copy your bot token

7. Save the token securely (you'll need it for the application)

## Step 2: Add the Bot to Your Server
1. In the Developer Portal, go to "OAuth2" > "URL Generator"
2. Select these scopes:
- `bot`
- `applications.commands`
3. Under "Bot Permissions", select:
- `Send Messages`
- `Attach Files`
- `Read Message History`
4. Copy the generated URL and open it in your browser
5. Select the server where you want to add the bot
6. Click "Authorize"
## Step 3: Set Up the Project
1. Clone or download the project files
2. Create a virtual environment (recommended):
```bash
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate # On Windows: venv\Scripts\activate
```
3. Install dependencies:
```bash
pip install -r requirements.txt
